Every morning across the Cotswolds, our bakers roll and fold layers of butter and flour into light, golden pastry. The result is proper viennoiserie, made by hand and delivered fresh to cafés, hotels, guest houses and farm shops throughout Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and the North Cotswolds.

We bake overnight and deliver seven days a week. Place your order before noon for next-day delivery, with a minimum order of just £30.

The Little Bakery Company has been part of the Cotswolds’ food story since 1928. Our pastry chefs make everything in-house using locally milled flour, fresh butter and traditional methods that create rich, flaky layers and a true artisan texture.

Each pastry is shaped by hand and baked in our bakery kitchen in Moreton-in-Marsh. From there, we deliver fresh every morning across the Cotswolds so your guests can enjoy pastries that feel homemade, authentic and full of flavour.

We can also supply pastries blast-chilled or frozen for bake-off on site. This gives you flexibility with service, storage and waste control while maintaining the quality and freshness you expect from our bakery.

Every kitchen works differently, so we provide our pastries both fresh and frozen.

Fresh pastries are baked through the night and delivered early each morning, ready to serve straight away.

Frozen and bake-off pastries are prepared at peak freshness, blast-chilled and delivered ready to bake when needed. This flexibility helps you manage stock, cut waste and maintain the highest quality for every service.

Are your croissants and pastries made with real butter?
Yes. We use high natural fat French butter in all of our viennoiserie. This is what creates the rich, flaky layers and golden colour that set a proper croissant apart from a factory-made alternative. We do not use margarine or butter substitutes.

How are your wholesale pastries packaged for delivery?
Fresh pastries are delivered in bakery trays, ready to display or serve. Frozen and bake-off pastries are packaged for safe storage and easy handling in a commercial kitchen. If you have specific packaging requirements, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Can you supply pastries for a hotel continental breakfast?
Yes. Our mini viennoiserie selection is particularly well suited to continental breakfast displays and buffet service. We can supply a mixed assortment of croissants, pain au chocolat and other pastries in quantities that suit your service size, with next-day delivery seven days a week.

Do your pastries contain allergens?
Yes. Our viennoiserie contains gluten, dairy and eggs. Some products also contain nuts, including our almond croissants which contain frangipane. Full allergen information is available for every product in our range. Please contact our wholesale team for a detailed allergen sheet before placing your first order.

Can you supply pastries for afternoon tea service?
Yes. A number of our wholesale customers include our pastries as part of an afternoon tea offering. Mini croissants and cinnamon buns work particularly well alongside scones and traybakes. We are happy to discuss a bespoke selection to suit your afternoon tea menu.

What is the shelf life of your fresh pastries?
Fresh pastries are baked overnight and delivered early each morning. They are at their best on the day of delivery. Our blast-chilled and frozen pastries have a longer shelf life and are ideal for kitchens that need more flexibility with stock management.

Can I get a sample delivery before committing to a wholesale account?
Yes. We encourage new customers to try our products before setting up a regular account. Get in touch with our wholesale team and we will arrange a sample delivery so you can assess the quality and range for yourself.

Do you cater for dietary requirements such as vegan or gluten-free pastries?
Our current viennoiserie range is made with butter, eggs and wheat flour and is not suitable for vegan or gluten-free diets. However, we do offer a range of other wholesale baked goods that may suit different dietary requirements. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
